I am eager to transfer memorials to family members! If you want to manage one of my memorials, please let me know so I can transfer it to you!! For the fastest response, include the memorial number in your request. Find a Grave doesn't automatically include the memorial number, but I can make the transfer immediately if I don't have to look the number up.

When my mother-in-law died, she left me hundreds of her family records. I started trying to organize them, and caught the genealogy bug. Find A Grave is one of my favorite resources--love seeing so many volunteers work together to create this wonderful collection of records. Every person is a son or daughter of God and deserves to be remembered.

Older headstones are often hard to read. In keeping with Find A Grave policies, I don't take rubbings, chalk headstones, or even remove moss or lichen, because any of these actions might harm the stone. Family members are the only ones who should do anything that might alter a stone. If you are a family member and you clean or replace a stone I've already photographed, please upload a new picture so we can see your work! I'll be happy to take down any old pictures to make way for the best possible records of your loved ones! Unfortunately, typos seem to be inevitable in handling so many records. Please use the edit tab on memorials to alert me to any mistakes and/or missing information.

For some reason, sometimes FG uploads two identical photos of a headstone. As I notice the extras, I'm taking the duplicates down to leave room for other photos. (FG limits the number of photos per memorial.) If you see a duplicate I've missed, please let me know so I can get it down ASAP!
