Bio

In the event I can no longer be able to work or manage the memorals in my account, I want my profile and all its content become property of Ms.Hummigbird ID 47173708
she will be sole responsible for all of its content, certificates and pictures.

When a manager declines a suggested edit, Find a Grave will respect their decision as they are the manager of the memorial page.

Note: I will not transfer any of my direct lines

If you see a memorial that is your family line, please ask, and I will transfer it to you.

I ask of other not to hold hostages memorails from the rightful family. ESPECIALLY if the were not created no contributed by you to this site.

WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU to all the wonderful and outstanding people I have met via FAG, to mention a few
CINDYS, Dorothy Rola, Tami Glock, and lots more, you know who you are.
Blessings to all of you.

From Contributor: "DON" on his Find a Grave profile, which also reflects my feelings:

"We don't "own" the memorials we manage - they are not ours. We may create them, we may update them, we may transfer them to others - we are but stewards. They are Find A Grave memorials of human beings, departed. They are not "friends" on a social media network website to be collected like baseball trading cards. And there's no prize for the one who dies with the most.......(and you know who you are)!!! SHAME ON YOU!

The reward (for me) comes from maintaining the most "ACCURATE" and dignified memorials I can. What we record becomes history, and a record in someone else's family tree. We have a responsibility to do a good job of it. It's a privilege and honor."

Remember that these deceased souls deserve respect, even in death. Sometimes the competitiveness of fellow FG contributors is baffling. These memorials we create are not playing cards to swap. For me the volume of how many memorials my account has created means nothing. Unfortunately, to some contributors that number is life. Truly sad. .

We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and to feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts, but instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe.
