NOTE: I am happy to transfer memorials to family members and/or friends so don't hesitate to ask!|
As I'm sending a number of you changes* for your pages, additions, etc., please know that I do thank you even if I don't send each of you a thank you - THANKS to you all. (*The changes I'm finding are in the "Variety Obituaries" series of books.)
Author of "The Stars of Hollywood Forever," "The Stars of Hollywood Forever: 1901-2006" and most recently "The Stars of Hollywood Forever - A Who's Who of Hollywood's Final Resting Place" and "The Stars of Hollywood Forever Revisited." Check the latest version out on "lulu.com"
* A note from Find a Grave: Tony Scott's book is highly recommended. Wonderfully detailed and accurate. I've been using it for years...and it's been updated by the author regularly!

You're very welcome! As soon as I learn how to use my new photo editing program better, I will add an arrow to show the Rqce's crypts. Hope all is well with you! Jim
Thank you so much!
|Louis du Mort||Ed Gardner|
Thanks for the Ed Gardner transfer. You had him at Hollywood Forever, but a friend told me he was (and is) at Valhalla. I saw your bio wasn't 'famous' so I researched and wrote a very nice, detailed bio for him to submit as 'famous'. When I went to link him to his first wife, actress Shirley Booth, it was then I saw he was already linked to her under then mane Edward Francis Gardner and was already 'famous'.
I went ahead and transferred it back to you. You might want to consider deleting it, since it's a duplicate.
Sorry for the confusion, but again, Thank You so much.

TY kindly for the message, I can tell you when I searched on google for Dot Karroll prior to contacting you I did find a photo of Dot on her IMDB bio page that looks like it was from a movie poster. Here is the link, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0440125/?ref_=nm_mv

I am currently working on this family and have found that Ella is linked to Joel Kelley (father), and I have found some discrepancies. I very recently found an error in the memorial for her father, Joel Kelley. The dates did not add up and I found that this memorial should be attributed to Joel Kelley Sr. I emailed the Memorial Manager about this and the Memorial for Joel was transferred to me. Now I am in the process of cleaning up all of the family links and need your help. Since the Joel Kelley that she is linked to is now her Grandfather, rather than her father Joel, could you unlink Ella from Joel on the Memorial page? Once I create a new Memorial page for her father Joel, I can send you a message to link Ella to the correct Joel.
Or if you could transfer this Memorial to me, I'd appreciate it. I am a family member.
It is quite a mess.....

Hi, Is this the correct headstone for Robert E. Dea? The headstone says Rosecrans. Robert is an ancestor of my son.
|Mike Cronk||Archibald & Frederick Carroll - Calvary Cemetery|
Thank you very much for the transfer of the 'Find A Grave' memorials of my cousins, Archibald & Frederick Carroll. I am very grateful for the kindness you have shown me in fulfilling my requests.
And, thank you VERY MUCH for creating their memorials and photographing their gravestone. Some people think of this work as a "hobby", but I see it as a "calling". Thanks for answering that call.
