|Melissa Rose||Pvt Alexander Mercaldo|
Hello Mr. Schott,
I want to thank you for posting the photo of the Manila American Cemetary for my Great Uncle Alexander Mercaldo's profile. Are you located in Manila? I'm trying to find out how I can get a photo of his name on the monument. Do you know how I might be able to go about this? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Edwin Lach is my husbands Uncle. He was the youngest of 4 boys in that family. His parent were from Poland and both of them came over to USA and became citizens. He was a Machinist's Mate, First Class, US Navy First Class, Navy. The USS Vincennes sank at Sea after being hit by a Japan plane more than once. Edwin was on the USS Vincennes. He never married. His family missed him so much.
We would appreciate if you can document this on his memorial. Thank you for all you do.

Please post a picture of Head stone Memorial# 56773258, lost at sea on the USS Indianapolis.

I believe the death date you have listed for John Burroughs Stahl is off by one year. He was killed in November, 1944, not 1945.

YOU HAVE POSTED A CEMETERY PHOTO ON ALFRED JOSEPH SEDIVI.
ALFRED SEDIVI WENT DOWN WITH THE SHIP, USS INDIANAPOLIS AND IS STILL AT SEA..... THERE IS A MEMORIAL IN MANILA TO THOSE WHO WERE LOST IN THE PACIFIC, BUT ALFRED SEDIVI IS NOT BURIED, EXCEPT ON THE USS INDIANAPOLIS.
Could you remove the cemetery photo from George Webb's page, 56753961?
I'd like to add a picture of George but the five picture limit on George's page has been reached. There is a picture of his grave on the page and some other photos. I think the best one to delete in the cemetery picture.

|Backward Glance||Thank you|
Thank you for the picture of the US Cemetery in Manila where my grandmother's younger brother, Pvt. Eugene F. Server, was laid to rest when killed in WWII aboard the USS War Hawk in January 1945 after the ship was rammed by a Japanese suicide boat. I have linked him with his parents and siblings at long last.

This young man was my second cousin. All the family knows is that he was killed while serving in the Pacific for the USA Army.
Do you have any other information?

My Uncle was lost at sea after the sinking of his ship the USS Jarvis(393). I have been looking for years on information of him and your picture of the Manila American Cemetery on his site was the missing piece I was looking for and opened many doors. Thank You so Very Much
