I am an English literature major, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I just love studying literature, be it poetry or prose, and I have become really fond of Rupert's work. He is now my favorite poet, for sure. It is amazing the way that I came to know about Rupert Brooke, it was by accident, a very fortunate accident. I was doing some research about Lord Tennyson and I found a site that displayed works by many poets, and among them was Brooke. I became very curious about him; first, because I had never heard about him before (what a sin!) and second, because I saw his picture and he reminded me a lot of my father. It wasn't long till I started reading his work and admiring him very much.
