Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love going through cemeteries old and new.
To me they are a place of beauty. The artistic style and beauty of many of the older grave markers, shows the true skill of the craftsman.

I am interested in genealogy. I love finding lost relatives. I am willing to help find lost loved ones in the SE Indiana area, and take photos if I can.

Many wonderful volunteers have created memorial pages for a lot of my family and I truly appreciate all the work they have done. I hope to repay that with the memorials I create.

If I have made any errors on any of the memorials I have created, please let me know and I will be happy to make corrections (please use the edit tab).

I have no problem transferring a memorial as long as it is not connected to my family tree. If any of the memorials I currently manage are for members of your family, just let me know and I will gladly transfer them (PLEASE use the "suggest another correction" option on the edit tab).

I am always happy to see these memorials maintained by family, however distant in relationship. I would rather a memorial be with someone who knew the person rather than a complete stranger.

My family lines that I am actively researching:

Father's Line
Swartz Family Kith and Kin
Ulrey Family Kith and Kin
Snell Family Kith and Kin
Fitzgerald Family Kith and Kin
Vest Family Kith and Kin
Consley Family Kith and Kin

Mother's line
Scharf Family Kith and Kin
Heath Family Kith and Kin
Halliday Family Kith and Kin
Page Family Kith and Kin
White Family Kith and Kin
Cochran Family Kith and Kin

I created a virtual cemetery for my fallen fellow students and Teachers of South Dearborn Schools.
SDHS Fallen Knights. You are missed.

RE: Butch Walston
Do you have any info on Rodney, his brother? I only knew his Mother as Pat Walston. She may have married later after her and their Dad divorced. Last time I say her was in 1963 when I lived in Aurora for a few months. I baby sat Rodney and Butch in 62/63. I know she was friends with the Chapman family, Pearl and Larry and his wife. I may have pictures of them from back then. Thank you for answering. I will try to remember more but it has been a number of years. Thanks again!

Dear Donald:

Thank you so much for entering this family member into Find-A-Grave! I appreciate the memorial site you've created, and I would like to maintain it if possible. Would you please transfer management of Hester's site to me? As you can see, I've already sponsored her memorial, and I would love to go further.

Thank you for your consideration.

Kind regards,

John Smith
hi
Looking up records on find a grave.

You took a picture of the headstone of a
John Smith, 1822-1866, buried in Greendale Cemetery, Dearborn County, Indiana. I am trying to add in cemetery record my a Smith line. I cannot make out on John Smith's headstone who his parents were and his spouse. If you can tell me what it say I'd be greatful.

Thank you for your time and service to find a grave.

Danny Gilvin
I saw your message on Danny's memorial. I drove that red VW Beetle right off of the showroom floor in 1975. I put over 100,000 miles on it and then my Dad gave it to Danny's mother. She drove it to nursing school and then Danny took it over to drive to HS. Oh, the stories it could tell! Thanks for remembering my nephew.

I sent edits for her birthdate based on the grave marker, also for her maiden name based on the Spring Grove cemetery records. Please ignore these if you have info from better sources!
