Bio
I am the son of Harry R. Boileau and Sarah Louise Kilgore. My parents lived in Ainsworth, IA when I was born in 1944. At the age of 5 we moved to Washington, IA. I am a member of the Washington High School class of 1962. Served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam veteran.
In 1968 I married Karen K. Deatsch, daughter of Romuald F. Deatsch and Gladys M. Kron, of rural Riverside, IA.
The names that I am researching for our family tree:
My paternal side:
Boileau, Smith, Vinton, Coen
My maternal side:
Kilgore, Wallace, Purvis
My wife's paternal side:
Deatsch, Birrer, Rummelhart
My wife's maternal side:
Kron, Kleopher, Kiefer
I happened upon Find A Grave when doing family research and found it to be a valuable tool. Also learning that volunteer work made it possible I decided to "pitch in." In addition, I also contribute to the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project. There is a great deal of satisfaction in honoring our predecessors. As a result I have heard from people across the country and enjoy helping them when possible.
