My name is David. I was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Both my parents were born in Henrietta, Texas. They are gone now.

My Mama's parents and a lot of the Shaw family are buried in Hope Cemetery in Henrietta. The Brown side of the family is buried in Bellevue.

I got involved here on Find A Grave "accidentally." I saw that the date on my Granny Shaw's memorial page said she died in 1962. I wrote the person who maintained the page to get it changed to 1952. She transferred "maintenance" to me. (smile)

Since then, I have been interested in finding or adding Find A Grave memorials for other family members so they can all link together and show the relationships. I don't try to have a large number of additions to Find A Grave. I let the people who enjoy doing that have that job. I am only interested in my own family and in friends who (unfortunately) are here on Find A Grave. I have added a few Friend memorials when one didn't exist because I wanted to honor them here and show something about them.
