My desire to find more than just names and dates on paper is when I found the Find-A-Grave site in the Summer of 2011. I have been a member ever since. I am so thankful to the volunteers who have spent so many hours taking pictures in large quantities, as well as the volunteers who will drive up to 50 miles, or more, to take that one special picture of one headstone for a person they never met. It happened to me. I was amazed! Their work is so important to not only preservation of records, but also engaging others to participate in becoming actively involved in searching their own history.


If you have found my name on your family member’s memorial page, A Pioneers’ Granddaughter, as transcriber, I am unable to transfer management of the memorial to you. That can only be done by the FAG member who created the page.
