Bio Photo My wife and I are cemetery enthusiasts an have been to many graves of notable people thoroughout American history. The farthest we have traveled is to California to see the graves of Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. We also went to Johnson City to see Lyndon Johnson's grave. We really love doing these things.

Chic Harley
Thanks for the tip on the book! Chic was a treasure but, sadly, also a tragedy. ...Yes, Chic was cut out of team ownership because the contract was voided when Chic failed a physical exam (health impairments acquired during his WWI service). At the time he was diagnosed with Dementia praecox, a chronic disorder characterized by rapid cognitive disintegration, usually beginning in the late teens or early adulthood."*** ...Harley ultimately became hospitalized at the V A Hospital in Danville, IL, where he was a patient for the remainder of his life.

***THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH, “Chic Harley put OSU on the college football map.”

I sincerely appreciate your time, Frank F.

Chic Harley
Why is George Halas a horrible person? It is my understanding the Chic had extremely serious mental health issues, which Halas did not cause and which disabled Mr. Harley for his ENTIRE adult life.

Robert O Abrams
Hello Frank

I looked Robert up on the site. His Ohio death certificate shows James W and Lillie Abrams as his parents. There is also a marriage record
Marriage 09 Aug 1920 in Highland County, Ohio
showing his parents as James W. Abrams and Lillian Young. His wife was Anna P. Allen.

Could it be you knew him by another name, Maybe Otto as shown on Anna Allen Abrams death certificate? Also, since you are related..I would be happy to transfer the Abrams to your care.

Let me know.
