Bio

I hope to add a more detailed (and better explained) bio at a later date but wanted to add a little now since I am trying to contribute memorials as time permits.

My genealogy research led me to this site which I absolutely have fallen in love with. The other contributors have taught me how important it is not only in preserving our past but in honoring those who paved the way for us--whether our parents, a long-ago relative or a soldier's name that means nothing to me. Oh, but it does--because I've learned that very soldier gave up his life over 225 years ago so that I could be free today. Did he realize that then? No, of course not--but he does now just as he also knows now that he has not been forgotten as we continue to honor him and all the others whether they were soldiers or carpenters or wives "keeping house" or little ones that were lost in an epidemic. We are their legacy.

And so if I can help anyone with questions or if there is something you would like me to add, correct or delete please let me know thru the edit tab. I do ask for a brief explanation explaining the change request (and please don't be offended if I question it further as I want to be sure all memorials have the most correct info possible).

Transfers: I will be happy to transfer any memorial upon request as long as it is not a direct-line relative of my own. If your relationship to the deceased exceeds the FAG guidelines please still ask as I will overlook those guidelines if you just give a brief explanation regarding relationship (or if not related) then why you are making the request. Over time many lines die out so that there are no living DIRECT descendants to care for these memorials which is why I will consider all requests.

I hope this helps and that I can be of help to some of you at least.
