I am dedicating my profile for awhile to Opal Pickering Womack at Bass Chapel Cemetery here in Missouri. A very obnoxious Findagrave member harassed and bullied me relentlessly to turn over her memorial. I am related to Opal and she demanded my family info to prove it and I wasn't going to do that. I have a mother, aunts and a great-aunt still living that knew Opal and her family. They grew up with her daughter, went to Opal's funeral and tended the Womack and Pickering graves at Bass Chapel among so many out there. I finally deleted Opal's memorial but my harasser has put her back out there. I put Opal into Findagrave, about 15 years ago, as a tiny little memorial to a woman my family still has stories about to this day. I remember they were so happy she was remembered that way and told me so much about these families that they say "lived across the field". So here's to Opal PIckering Womack, long gone but not forgotten!
