Bio
My father passed in 2003 and I suddenly realized I know nothing about my family. I have since pulled out his books he started on family research and hope to someday make a book for the family to pass on.
I find it so exciting to find, meet, and get to know family I never knew existed as well as seeing photos of generations past.
I have gotten most of my info from other family but if there is anything I can do to help just let me know.
Family names I am researching are:
Havens, Siman, Simon, Solomon, Baker, Woodruff, Bolin, Bolding, Jasper, Casteel, Wilson, Snow, Junkins, Holt, Holcolm, Galloway, and Browning just to name a few...
Lots of luck in your search and I hope to get to know any and all family no matter how distant!
In regards to transfering. I think the FAG "rule" to transfering is very dumb. If I ever have a memorial that is your family member I have NO problem transfering it. I have the memorials I do so that I may direct my family members to see and help with their research. I have aunts/uncles/cousins/great granparents from all generations. If one of my family is closer to you then by all means...ASK and you SHALL receive! I am not like other members on here who have some strange fedish with collecting as many graves as they can family or not. I just find that very RUDE to keep a memorial if they are NOT related to you. As you can probably guess this has happened to me and I think that person is a very selfish and controling....Strange person!
