Bio

I have been researching my genealogy for many years and now have over 41,000 people in my database and in a private genealogy website. I am a former Navy Nurse, civilian nurse, nurse educator, airline pilot and SCUBA diving instructor. I was Director of Health & Safety at the Virginia Renaissance Faire, where I volunteered for 12 years. The "White Knights" are responsible for first aid (& other things) for the cast, crew, vendors, and patrons; over 2,000 people most days. I also enjoy walking cemeteries and taking photos for you, but if you don't show appreciation for my efforts, I will ignore your future requests.

I have found thousands of relatives and ancestors who were murdered in the Holocaust. I am entering them, one by one, and so far, have nearly 3,500 of their memorials, over 2,100 in Auschwitz alone. They are separated in my virtual cemeteries by camps, and I also created a virtual cemetery for the children, which has over 700 children listed so far. I would be honored if you would stop by to visit them when you are able. I ask only that you refrain from leaving Christian tokens or wording. Thank you so much.

Feel free to add photos to my memorials any time, as long as you have taken them yourself and have not copied them from obituaries. Thanks! I am happy to make additions, corrections and family links, and am always grateful for additional information you can send. Please send them using the EDIT feature on the memorial page. I will act on all additions, etc. within 24 hours when possible.

I would so appreciate if you would stop by my beloved ♥Dad's♥ and ♥Mom's♥ memorials and leave a token so I know you've been there. Thank you so much to those who have already visited them. I have also made virtual cemeteries for my 8 wonderful fur babies and 3 special cousins. They would love to see you too. I miss them all so much. Thank you.

I would like to thank every one of you for visiting my family members & friends. It truly means so very much to me to see all your tokens and notes. You are a very special group of people and I am so grateful to have met you.

Dear Ancestor,
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left,
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
