There is nothing more important than family. I believe we should love and appreciate our family while they are still around. |
I am married to a wonderful guy from whom I have inherited the most fascinating family history. I spend a lot of time documenting it for the children. My goal is to connect them in Find A Grave for as far back as I can. Hopefully, it will help others find their loved one's resting places.
We became grandparents in July 2011. Our little boy has brought so much joy into our lives, I have to pinch myself in disbelief each time I thank the Almighty for this brand new blessing. As my husband and I must cross the Atlantic Ocean in order to visit with him, and it's not always possible, we have become cyber-grandparents. Skype has become the next best thing to catching a plane.
We are both retired, and a lot of our time is spent pursuing our many interests.
God has blessed us with another grandson since I wrote this. We are so very blessed!

Mildred, can I have a picture of Emma´s burial site? Thank you for your help.
|Kioshi Inuyama||Gonzalo Philippi|
Mildred, saludos desde Utah. ¿Podría conseguir una foto del lugar en donde Gonzalo Philippi está enterrado? How can I contact any of his living relatives? Is that possible? He´s related to me. Thank you very much. My email is: email@example.com
|L Torres Berrios||Rev Fr Petrus Maria Berrios|
This Fray Pedro de Maria Berrios Ortiz is brother to my great great grandfather Jose Antonio Berrios Ortiz. Another sibling of theirs is Maria Mateo Berrios Ortiz. If they had any other siblings I have not found them yet.
Their parents are Juan de Maria Berrios and Catalina Ortiz, allegedly born in Naranjito but settled and had their children in Barranquitas. My great great grandfather later settled in Corozal (Bo. Mana). It has been horribly hard for me to find any information before Juan and Catalina.
Is Rev Fr Petrus Maria Berrios related to you?
Thank you for posting this pic.
To give you some information about this monk, he was a teacher and after he became a priest he was mostly self taught. When the USA arrieved and 1898 and separation of church and state was established, the catholic church found itself without any $ support to opperate the schools, hospitals, orphanages and other public institutions it ran. Most european priests did not want to pledge allegeance to the flag of the USA so they took the last ship back to Spain.
By then Pedro had already worked his way up the church structure and was living in the walls of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Juan. When the first 2 American Catholic bishops were assigned to PR from the US Catholic Church Blenk 1899 and Jones 1907, Petrus became their Vicar Bishop until his death in 1919. Within the historian of the church is kept in high esteem for he helped these bishops to understand the humanity, reality and suffering of the Puertorrican people under the Spanish crown. Even talk about wanting to canonize him to sainthood next to Rafael Cordero ( teacher of the poor ).

Hello! I am researching Roberto's family and am wondering if you are a descendant or not. Trying to find a descendant of Roberto or one of his siblings. His parents were Cecilio Rivera Ocasio and Leocadia Morales Burgos.

While researching my family on Family Search, I came across the name C. Berrios and then your name as the contributor of the PRNC picture for my cousin's memorial. If this is the family you are researching (Ruben Delgado Rodriguez) please contact me, as I am willing to share any and all information I have.
|Too||T/5 Manuel Gonzalez Jr|
I search a grave in Puerto Rico. The T/5 Manuel Gonzalez Jr was killed in action, August 3rd 1944 near my hometown in France. We erected a memorial where his name had been engraved with the names of the others soldiers who died here. Manuel Gonzalez Jr was repatriated by his mother Dolores Fernandez de Gonzalez to San Juan Cemetery (no other information about the cemetery). His home adress was Allen Street 105, San Juan.
T/5 Manuel Gonzalez Jr
Army Serial Number : 12037368
Unit : 17th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron
Birth date : August 15, 1922
KIA : August 3, 1944
I will be grateful for any help in my research.
