If I have posted an image of a headstone to a memorial and you have a much higher resolution image, please add yours and let me know so that I can remove my image. Many of the images I have added were done back when Find A Grave had a much lower limit on the size of the image and I had a cheaper digital camera!

If I have added an image to a memorial that you manage and that memorial has reached the maximum number of images, please contact me if you would like to request that I remove the one I added. I am more than happy to consider the request.

I have been asked why I request so many updates to memorials. Simply put - I would like the memorials as complete and accurate as possible so anyone searching for that person has a higher chance of finding them. If you question my data, please put my request on hold (the ignore option) and contact me for further information. Hopefully at some point Find A Grave will put a Notes option on every request for update.

Images I have posted: You may freely use any headstone image or death certificate image I post as long as it is for non-commercial use (that is you will not profit from it financially - let's keep genealogy free). A mention of where it came from would be nice but is not required. Any portrait images of people I would ask that you contact me first. Most are my direct line relatives.

I have had an interest in Genealogy since I was 16 and began actively researching in 1974. My current ancestor chart can be viewed at the "Home Page" link in the header above.

I have added memorials for people that I have found while doing my own research on the Internet (and in local cemeteries). I have also taken over many memorials that others have entered and I TRY to manage them.

If I have entered someone related to you and you would like to maintain the memorial, please contact me via the "edit" option on that specific memorial, politely ask for the transfer and let me know what your relationship is to the individual on the memorial. I can transfer the memorial to your account and will do so if asked unless they are closely related to me.
