Genealogy has been an interest that started back in high school, but as far back as I can remember I would ask, "What am I?" in reference to my heritage. Now years later I've learned more then I could have imagined I ever would. I'm the self designated family historian since I feel that little or none of the family cares about our heritage and preserving the old family photographs and documents.|
Along with the photographs I upload, sometimes I will take the time to look on Ancestry.com for more details to add to the memorials. Most of the memorials I've created or added to are no relation to me.
Most of my family has roots in South Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania but are those who also live in Colorado, Missouri and West Virginia.

There seems to be two memorials for the same person.
Yours is much more informative. Maybe you could get with the other person and combine the information

|Teri Gregg||RE: Julia (Kozar) Laskowski|
I am. My dad, Steve Kozar, and Julia (Kozar) Laskowski were brother/sister. How old are you? I am 47, but my dad and mom were late 30s when I came along. Are you in touch with other family? I am out in WA State and not in touch with anyone. My dad died in 1993 and my mom has Alzheimer's. I am trying to piece some history together and came across a suitcase of photos of Julia, her husband, and her son.

Are you related to Julia Laskowski who is buried in Chelan, WA? I saw your name leaving a message on her site. Her mom was a Zuber. Thank you, Teri
|Lydia Kirkland||Thank you|
I just wanted to thank you so much for taking the picture of Brianna G. Kirkland. She was (is) my daughter and I can't always make it to her grave. Being able to see her right from home helps me to feel closer to her and you made that possible. I have a huge hole in my heart now that she is gone and with the ability to view her grave everyday you have allowed me to have a little piece of my heart back.
|Theresa O||Holy Cross Cemetery Photo Requests|
Please call the cemetery office and ask for the grave location. Photo requests cannot be fulfilled without Section, Range/Row and Lot numbers as cemetery is too big. Thank you!
|Screech||Ocie Pauline Beard|
Thanks so much for finding the article about Ocie Pauline and adding it to Findagrave.
I have been searching for obits for her parents but no luck so far.

|Richard Rieck||Hannah Galland Strong death|
The October 20, 1852 issue of the Council Bluffs [IA] Western Bugle, p. 3, c. 1-2, published an Aug. 16 letter from T. D. Brown of the "15th Co., Mormon Emigrants" which included "List Of The Dead." One of the entries was "Sister Strong, from Garden Grove, and three others killed in a stampede near Liberty Pole on the Platte." This contemporary source lists a stampede as cause of death, not cholera. Thought you'd like to know.
|Rev. Patrick McDowell||RE: Thank you|
My thanks to you and Lois and others who have done so much to get our parish cemetery collection started. It should be advantageous for anyone who has a loved one buried there!
I think I found Joseph and his parents on the 1910 census. Do you have an email? I wanted to tell you some things I heard but Find A Grave posts everything public. I also have a picture I will send you :) Kevin and his sister Sylvia are coming out to see us in Florida in a couple days (David and I are getting married Saturday) so I will ask him if he remembers Sonny.
