Gereld Stokes Benner
Find A Grave Memorial# 101413146

I am adding grave markers for Garden of the Saints Columbarium in Round Rock, Texas, and came across a plaque for Gereld Stokes Benner. Not sure if his first name is spelled correctly, but that's how it is in the marker. It has his birth date and now we know his place of interrment. I didn't want to make any changes to the file without telling you first. I will, however, post a photo of the marker for you.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

William Hoover
Michael Gary Hoover #127202762
Dear elarpe, I wanted to make or suggest a edit/correction on Michael Gary Hoover. I worked with Mike Hoover at Pickaway Correctional Institution (PCI) in Orient Ohio. He was actually a Social Worker and not a Psychologist. So the proper wording would be "Worked at Pickaway Correctional Institution as a social worker". It's sad. I enjoyed talking to Mike Hoover. I know that he had some health issues but had not seen or talked with him for a while. Rest In Peace Mike Hoover

Marriage of joseph Paxon to Barbara Clapper
I just happen to be going through my mothers notes that are "40 +" old scanning what I need and I ran across her note on Joseph and Barbara's 7/5/1824 marriage in Salt Creek Twp. Muskingum Co Ohio. I would bet you that the Paxons of Guernsey Co. Ohio are related.

RE: Clappers
Try researching this Paxon. Parts Westland and Salt Creek is but 3.5 away. Even though I have them married in York Co. Pa Barbara Maria Clapper may have followed her brother George (same name as their father) to Salt Creek Twp, Muskingum Co. OH. George b. 1757 did die there like George Jr. I don't know were Joseph and Barbara Marie Clapper Paxon lived or died.

Good luck

Bob Hill

RE: Clappers
I am a direct descendant of George Michael Clapper and Elizabeth Souders through their son Jacob Clapper (1790-1879) and his wife, Hermina Skiles(1795-1860). If you are a member of, you will find a lot of information there. Much of the info I have was gleaned from Ancestry. Is there something specific that you are looking for? I will be glad to assist you if I can.
