|Bio and Links|
|I became interested in FindAGrave when researching my own family tree. |
Many of our relatives are buried in Kerley Cemetery, Flatwoods, Johnson County, Illinois. I wondered if everyone there was somehow related, so I started trying to link those in the cemetery to my own family tree. I discovered I could link nearly all of them, and this resulted in my creating a new tree including all memorials in the Kerley Cemetery.
I plan to continue to add memorials as I locate and photograph them, and I have also added some memorials based on obituaries. When I come across a sibling, or parent's, or child's obituary, I sometimes create memorials for those people in the cemeteries they are buried in so that i can link them to relatives in the Kerley Cemetery.
I also enjoy transcribing photos on the FindAGrave site.

I transferred them to you since they are your husband's direct line. Does Ellen have anymore of his direct line? :)

Ellen must have his 1st name incorrectly. I also noticed the marriage date for her parents is listed in Ellen's file incorrectly. She has the marriage date as 24 Aug 1846 but Elizabeth was born in 1830 and Dr. Allard died in 1843. Possibly Mrs. Allard remarried to a Thomas Allard???
Notice on Dr. Allard's memorial page that it has that he was a native of Kentucky but bio of Quillon that you sent said that he was born in Alabama. Maybe he was born in AL and raised in KY. Again...???
I will gladly listed Quillon's bio if you will send me your source for it.
Thank you so very much for all the info you have sent!!! :) Quillon is listed as Ellen's 1st husband's 1st cousin 4 times removed.

Please send me your source for the edit you sent Ellen Manuel. Your edit asked for Dr William Allard to be listed as her father. The file that Ellen sent me has Thomas Allard listed as her father. Her mother is listed as Sarah Murphy.
