I became interested in genealogy around 2000, and upon moving to England in 2001, I began going to the local history centres there to begin the research of my own family. Having knocked down nearly all my “brick walls“ in the fifteen years since, I have branched out to doing genealogy for others. In my spare time, I like kicking about cemeteries and fulfilling photo requests, largely because I imagine the feeling others are getting when a much sought after piece of family history is finally presented to them. I know how I would feel! Additionally, I have a real interest in seeing gravestones documented, particularly those in old cemeteries that are already decaying past the point of legibility. I am now situated in Ottawa and am happy to take volunteer photos in and around Ottawa.|

Thank you very much for the photo.
I'm guessing that his wife Christina was not on the same headstone.
Do you mind if I use the photo on a private Anvestry tree? I will credit you and Find A Grave.

That was the only name listed on the Tombstone, I can't recall seeing more, but Riverside is a fair size, I will keep looking around for you. St.Mary's Cemetery is smaller than Riverside, but easy to go through. I will send you a message if I find anymore. Have a nice weekend

Thank you for locating, photographing and posting the headstone of William and his wife Essey.

Thank you!! Received all the photos and am most grateful to have them, as they have provided me with new information that I did not have. I appreciate your generosity. Hope I can return the favour one day.
