In doing genealogy, I've gained a lot of respect for cemeteries. I really like Find A Grave because it helps to preserve them virtually. I've seen some pretty shameful things happen to them in reality. Some will never be recovered and for some people, a cemetery marker is the only evidence left in this world that they ever even existed.
