Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello: My name is Bill Kazupski and I am a resident of the City of Chicago. I live on the far south side of Chicago, blocks from a few of the south and southwest Chicago suburbs.

I come from a family of Chicago police officers. My father spent over 30 years with the force and both my brothers and I are Chicago police officers. I am a homicide detective and have been with the Chicago police department for over 30 years. My mother is a retired nurse and my one of my two sister works for Loyola Hospital.

I enjoy being a volunteer with Find-A-Grave because it allows me to get my walking exercise in while helping others. Kind of killing two birds with one stone as they say.

The following cemeteries are within walking distance from my residence:

St. Mary's
Mount Greenwood
Mount Olivet
Mount Hope
Saint Casimir
Chapel Hill Gardens (South)
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
Evergreen Cemetery
First Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery

Feel free to e-mail with any requests for these cemeteries.

Good Luck To All!

Bill Kazupski

McSherry Photo
A belated thanks for the effort to take a photo of Gladys and Andrew McSherry at Mt Olivet in March. Even learning there's no stone is good information to have! Thanks again for your help.

Re: Boleslaw Dukes
Thank you very much! It is useful to see that they grave are unmarked. I appreciate your trouble.

James Gillard
Thanks for the picture of James Gillard's cemetery space. I am trying to find if his widow Annie remarried. I've looked at all of the Annie at the cemetery and didn't see anything likely. I should probably make her memorial as "unknown cemetery/location"

What does "special police" mean?--I think "railroad" police based on his early career.

RE: Annie Desgery Gillard
Thanks for the information. Based on the marriage record I changed her maiden name to Devericks. But I should point out that other sources give her maiden name as Devereaux, etc.

Do you know her father's name? Are you a descendant of theirs? I will gladly transfer the memorial.

Naples, FL
