Army Air Force, a one-month (youngest in his class) Turner Field, GA, flight school graduate, who as a young B24E Co-pilot was killed in a military airplane crash in 1943, as a result of successive port engines failures during a night time training mission.I have been formally studying families with ties to Greene County, MS, since the 1970s, to many of which I am related. In addition to Churchwell, I am a descendant of Breland, Daughdrill, Harrell, Freeman, Williams, Shepherd, Brannan, Smith, Roberts, Chatham and Barnes.
