I will have limited computer access during April. I will make all updates as time allows.

My DNA test verified that I am almost 50/50 Finnish and Irish heritages.

I have one pet peeve -
I grew up in San Francisco, California. San Francisco is the ONLY city in the county of San Francisco. Thank you.

When I walk a cemetery, I make a note of other nearby relatives, the section/area I am in and include it in my transcriptions. When you are researching a 'John Smith', it helps to know if there are other 'Smith' names next to him.
Some cemeteries restrict photo taking by non-family members. Having any plot information helps all of the photo volunteers.
When I first started, I just wrote down names without photos. Now I take photos of all of the headstones.

Quite often I find myself researching the folks that I create memorials for, adding additional information and linking as many family members as I can locate.

I will make corrections/additions to any memorial that I have created.

All requests are verified before I change the memorial.

Please remember that the name on a headstone is not a legal document. Any name can be inscribed.

When posting a photo to any other website or software, please make a notation of the person's name that took the photo. He or she should be acknowledged for their photo.
