Thankful for Find a Grave as I feel it brings us closer to those we know who have passed on. I hope I can be of help to anyone who might be looking for a loved one.|
I am a native New Mexican. Having lived in all 4 time zones, I currently reside in Northern California.

I was wondering if you have any information or photos on the Jennings family. My great, great grandmother was Alice "Pallie" Jennings Horn. I tried to message you here but it didn't work.
My email is Amanda.email@example.com

That cemetery is a 3 hr. drive from here but I have a friend buried there. I had to go near there on business so I checked to see if there were any requests. Glad I could be of service.

Cool. What is your name? I was going to ask my cousin Bobbie.

Saw your message. If you have an e-mail, I have information I would rather not put in a public message.

I had walked every section of Portales Cemetery and did not have her in my records.
So I went over to the cemetery today and checked with the head cemetery specialist. He does not have her in his records.
I then went over to Wheeler Mortuary to see what information they had on her. According to their records, she was cremated and probably picked up by relatives. They had no burial location listed for her. But they said she may have been buried in Raton, New Mexico.
There have been a lot of problems with many memorials created by Tricia Potter.

Alma Schlessinger Rout's cremains are in the same Niche with four other Family members. I need to get # credit for my work, so please put in a photo request for these four people and add a 'note'..."Claim by C.J." so another volunteer should not claim, when I already took all the photos. THANKS, C.J.

There is no rule about which photo is listed first.
But I have learned there is a 'priority' to the photos that are posted. Photo posted under the 'Person' category are top priority. That means that if a 'Person' photo is posted and then a 'Grave' Photo is posted, the 'Grave' photo will always be posted below the 'Person Photo.'
If they are all posted as 'Grave' photos, every time there is a new 'Grave' photo posted, the earlier posted 'Grave' photos are moved down to make room for the newer 'Grave' photo.
So, if enough 'Grave' photos are posted, the photo of the person/family may not show up when the memorial is accessed. It would say there are more photos not displayed and you would have to click on that to see the rest of the posted photos.
Most people who post photos of a person, couple, or family want those photos to always show up when the memorial is accessed.
I have messed up before too. But I just delete the photo, then repost it under 'Person.'
