I have been into this hobby over 30 years and never get tired of it. It's a hobby that always will receive "new subjects". I must give accolades to my graving "homies": Arthur Koykka (RIP), Scott Wilson, Richard Silverman (RIP), Roger Sinclair(RIP), David Lotz (RIP), Kim Eazell, Jim Dougan, and David Brown. They don't all post here, but they do know their stuff when it comes to researching burials.

RE: John & Margaret Kearns

I see that John Kearns is buried in CE8/84 whereas Margaret Kearns is buried in CE13/46. It can be quite usual for other people to be buried in the same grave.

I will have a look when I am next at the cemetery. It might be difficult finding the exact locations of the plots with no headstones but I will try to get photos of the general areas.

RE: Rena Damone
Hi Chuck my good friend of David Lotz. It is about 12-15 feet away and it is a community mausoleum.

Cemetery records show Mr. Hamilton interred in Laurel, NW, U, 60. When the snow melts I will look for his grave and take a picture for you.

RE: Rosetta Maxey Howard
Thanks for your message!! Great to have extra eyes checking all this. There was some clarification needed here, which I neglected to add to the memorial. Too little time. Now done, plus a small bio. I originally picked up her burial information at Burr Oak came from "Blues A Regional Experience", page 157, which states Burr Oak in Worth. I have found the book to be very well researched and reliable. She is listed in its index and heading as Rosetta Howard. Her very brief bio. there continues with further naming her as Rosetta Howard Armstrong d. in Chicago at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's. I checked and found her in the Cook County Death Certificate index which shows her as "ARMSTRONG, ROSETTA HOWARD", File 625996, Date 10/08/1974. I suspect the records of Burr Oak will show her as Armstrong. Let me know if not or if you get the plot location.
