Hi, I'm a retired police officer for the City of North Charleston in South Carolina. I retired in April 2005 with 33 years in law enforcememt. I also served 4 years in the USAF from 1967-1971. I have a beautiful wife, Roxanne, a beautiful daughter, Stephanie, who served 8 years in the United States Air Force and is now in the USAF Reserves. I have a beautiful grandaughter, born December 1, 2006, and her name is Raena Makenzie and she is the apple of my eye. I love to read and study history of the war for southern independence and World War II.|
Find A Grave is one of my favorite sites, it is very interesting and full of unlimited history. If you have some free time please stop by my mom and dads site and I would like to thank everyone for all of the beautiful flowers and messages left for them, it really means alot to us.

Thank you for postings of our Confederate ancestors in the Heath Cemetery, Hill County, TX.
As a member of UDC, I honor the service they gave to the cause and to Texas. 5 sons of Richard B. Heath are now recognized as patriots in our supplemental applications.
4 served in the 12th Regiment, Texas Cavalry (Parson's Mounted Volunteers): Frederick G Heath, James Thomas Heath, William Spencer Heath and George Washington Heath.
John Gilbert Heath was in another unit under Capt. Whiteside, Col. McCord's regiment.
Thank you again for your remembering our Confederate ancestors.

|Rest in God||Thank You|
It is deeply appreciated that you visited Martin McGuinness memorial and placed a flower. It will surely be a great comfort to his family to see how he is being remembered and honoured in this time of deepest sorrow.
