Bio

My interest in family history began very young through stories I heard told mostly by my father and his siblings. I had my favorites and would make requests for the kind of reruns before television existed in our house. Born & raised in Northern Idaho, I am the youngest child of four. Our father was third generation Irish, our mother, third generation German. I'm retired from a lending and credit-risk background. My passion now is the never-ending one of our families history. My favorite uncle was Hugh. He was stoic, interesting & a great story teller. Hugh wrote, published, printed and handed each one of us a copy of our Family History saying 'now I want you to carry this on.' So we are trying to keep a promise made years ago to my favorite Uncle, Hugh Charles Lannen, 5 April 1916-21 July 1995!
