|Stewart Wooten||LeRoy Carlson|
Billie, you did a really nice Find A Grave memorial for LeRoy. Thank you for your time remembering our ancestors. Stewart
|Rebecca C.||RE: Fred Hardin|
Hi! Jane Poole is actually listed on the memorial that's under your care, for Ben Charles Hardin. Father: BC Hardin. Mother: Jane Poole. Then underneath someone has added Angie Brock as the mother in the links. If so, why is there a mention of Ben Charles' mother being Jane Poole in the memorial text?
Gordon Wesley Hardin is the name written in your memorial for Bratton Carlyle, where Bratton is listed as having 3 children with Angie Brock: Marjorie, Ben Charlie, and Gordon Wesley. My entire information about Gordon Wesley's existence is based on your memorial. If you could share: what is your source?
As for Fred Carl Hardin: I'm researching the Hardin family on behalf of a beloved friend, who is a grandson of Bratton Carlyle, and the son of James Lewis Hardin. My beloved friend remembers his dad James had two brothers, and they both have died: Walter W. and Fred. So, I feel very confident Walter existed! I don't know when Walter died, but I believe it was relatively early in life, by age 60 at the latest. Also, Walter shows up in Ancestry.com census reports. The three boys were born relatively close together.
Really happy to find Fred Carl Hardin. And his first wife, by which he had all his children!
Are you related to the Hardin family? It's good to find other active people on here. I am humbled by the great information I am finding, but as it's all kept by volunteers, the chance for error is always there. I feel lucky to find so many memorials of loved ones.
Austin Memorial Park does not have him listed. The website is: http://www.austintxgensoc.org/cemeteries/austin-memorial-park-cemetery/
You can actually look up the names. Good Luck!

|Edwin Scott||Qustion on Mary "Mamie" Hogan Rich|
Find A Grave Memorial# 38700314 Mary "Mamie" Hogan Rich was my Paternal Grandmother's Paternal Grandmother [Mary "Mamie" Hogan Rich-->Lesley Samuel Rich-->Hazel Maxine Rich Meshberger-->Edwin Thomas "Tommy" Scott-->Edwin Thomas Scott Jr. (ME)]
I've been researching and comparing the sparse information in public records and on Find A Grave to try to fill in the blanks on Mary's memorial. Namely I have been looking for a date/place of death and so far I found no official records but I do conclude that she died sometime before 1900, as her last child's birth date was in 1896 and her husband Emil married his second wife in 1901. I noticed that you had a note that there was no headstone. This makes me wonder if she is actually buried there or not. I know that Emil is buried there with his family but I am unsure about her. Did you get her burial information from the Cemetery Records or another source, or did you just create the memorial on the assumption that she is buried there with him? The reason I am leaning towards her being buried somewhere else is that I also found this Find A Grave Memorial# 83010155 for a Mary Rich who died in 1898 and was buried also in Austin, Texas, just in a different cemetery. There are no records in online searches for this person and I am wondering if it might not be the same Mary Rich we have in common through your listing? The time period is right and the location-Austin, Texas is right. I don't know if this make any sense to you or not. Maybe the other cemetery could corroborate with their records.
|Lew W Pollan||Hello|
You left a memorial for my cousin, Howard Eugene Pollan, he was a Pollan family genealogist, if you come across any Pollan family graves I would appreciate any info about them.
Thanks, Lew Pollan
|Tony||RE: Freeman, Sa rah (nee Paul)|
It is my understanding that Sarah L. Freeman (nee Paul) is buried in the DeHart Cemetery, also known as the Holly Springs Cemetery in Monroe County, Tennessee. I have never been to the cemetery.

|Cecil Vaden Jr.||Jesse Meek @ Forest Park|
I see you added a picture request for Jesse Meek @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.
