I am retired employee of the County of San Luis Obispo. I have three children and am the widow of George Wendell Peterson. One child and George are memorialized here at Find A Grave.

I would like to add a note to members that I have made it a point to leave a memento for each veteran that has no token listed..I have a soft spot for veterans and their families ..I DO NOT DO GENEALOGY..I LEAVE THAT TO THE PROFESSIONALS

Thank you so much
Thank you, LeeAnne, for putting flowers on my father-in-law's grave, Joseph Marshall, death 2000.
My husband and I are finally going to make the trip to WV in a few months and we will take photos and upload them. We can do a lot more than we have in the past.
Thank you so much for your care and concern. Very heart-warming. We appreciate it.
The first thing my husband said was, we have to thank LeeAnne.
God bless.

RE: Flowers

You are so very welcome, I was honored to visit your Dad. Hope you and your family are doing well. Apologies for my late response, I had been in the hospital for quite a while.

I have a question about my great grandpa Christopher Wankmiller's grave. You stated that he is in an unmarked grave, but when I called there they could not find him and stated that perhaps he was one of the unknown soldiers. Do you have a picture or more information on his cemetery plot? My brother and I would love to have a headstone erected for him, if he is in an unmarked grave by himself. Beauford National Cemetery
