Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am crazy about the zinc monuments that were made by "Monumental Bronze" in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Currently, I am trying to spot as many as I can at the cemeteries in our part of the state!

We don't have family in Central Ohio, so we are enjoying doing local genealogy for the connection. I am currently researching the Swetland family (mainly from Morrow and Logan Counties, Ohio).

I have also spent years studying the French Resistance during WWII and am currently trying to locate and create memorials for many Resistance members.

Lt. Norman Lyle Jr.
It was brought to my attention that my memorial for Lt. Norman Lyle Jr. was placed incorrectly and another memorial has is the correct burial location. I mention this because two photographs with the incorrect memorial were uploaded by you. May I please have you add them to the correct memorial before I delete the old one? Thank you!

Russ C.

I usually do research on Civil War soldiers. But I stumbled on a picture of a WAAC in uniform and wondered about her. Discovered she was deceased (not surprised) but after her marriage name change her Find A Grave memorial had no photo of her, and no reference to her WWII service. That got me to looking for more women service members of WWII. These sidebar excursions will probably keep me from fully researching the 134th NY Infantry that my ancestor served in. Paul

Hello, Thanks for having added her photograph. I have a much clearer version of the same photograph. If you delete yours I will add it. Or I can e-mail it to you so you can add it, which ever is easier. Paul Turner

Hello,

I'm french and I'm writing a book on the Airborne invasion of Southern France. I'm also looking for all the pictures of the men who were killed in action there. I would like to know where do you have found a picture of Max G. Williams. I'm amazed by all your works.
