Bio

I was born in Colorado. When I was very young, Dad had bought an original homestead of 160 acres so we moved to the foot hills. There was quite a bit of history that went with it.
There was a lot of exploring to do, most of it I did on horseback.
I remember long summers of exploring ghost towns and cabins in the woods with their own private burial grounds. Wow I wish I knew then to TAKE PHOTOS!
I have been lucky enough to visit most of the cemeteries where my ancestors lay, as I married a Military man and we were stationed only a state or two away each time.

I will be happy to transfer management if they are not my family.

I do take photos of the unmarked plots to fulfill your photo requests. If you find what looks like a generic cemetery photo in place of a marker photo, please click on it to read the caption, for more details.

Currently working on Union Highland Cemetery in Florence CO. Where there are more than 3,100 graves without photos. Trying to track down whether they have markers or not and combining memorials that have actual markers with the ones that were created from the Cemetery Records.

URLs of some online records that have been valuable in my research.
