My Grandmothers maiden name was Jones, her ancestry upline came over from London England to Charles City County, Virginia in 1630s. Petersburg VA. is named after his son, Peter Jones. The Ards are from around Milton Fla..... On my mothers side The Lassitters are from Covington County Alabama and the Barnetts are from Chilton County Alabama..... Extended Family include Harms, Scott, Resmondo, Porter, Meeker, Springsteen and Stanford..... Close community family names some of were.... Downing, Vick, Anderson, Silcox, Powers, Wilson, Reed, Giles and Johnson.
