I grew up visiting the local cemeteries with my mother(Sherry Brown Seymour)and grandmother(Virginia Roll Brown). But it wasn't until my mother passed away in 2009 that my search for my roots began.
I love to research my maternal line which runs deep in Hallsville, ohio to say the least. Some of the surnames in my maternal line include; Brown, Mauger, Roll, Delong, Hinton, Leasure, Luckhart, Miller, Strawser, Keller, Mowery, Henkle, Sowers, Hall, Hanger, Pfeifer, and Conner (just to name a few). My paternal Line; Herron, Wilkins, Hixenbaugh, Hart, Winters, Knece, Childers, Strawn, Good, Bernard, Parker, Rector and Richter.
It is extremely important to keep our loved ones memories alive.
Most of my memorials I have added are family, but recently I have started adding memorials for those in some of the older cemeteries in my area. If I have added a memorial for your loved one that you would like transferred to you, please just ask. If they are not important to me I will gladly transfer them to you. I believe if we are going to create these memorials it is also our responsibility to make sure we transfer them to those that loved them.
