The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG thank you to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees but I do like credit. This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.

Please read Find A Grave's Transfer Requirements before requesting a transfer "THE FIND A GRAVE GUIDELINES FOR TRANSFERRING MEMORIALS ARE: Spouses, Parents, Brothers and Sisters, Children, Grand-children, Grandparents, and Great-grandparents. Please use the "EDIT" tab to ask for a transfer BUT PLEASE do no ask for a transfer that is not within these guidelines and PLEASE STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE DECEASED.
Putting requests on this site you will be ignored, and erased. Ignorance is not bliss it is just embarrassing for you.

For extended family members you can add
Virtual Cemeteries as we have done.

PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. "

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.

You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.

Dear Ancestor, the place you filled One hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so.I wonder if you lived and loved,I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, And come to visit you.

it's so nice to have one's efforts acknowledged.i'm at the cemetery at least once a week so that requests don't pile up. I also always post a picture of the family plot in case the person making the request doesn't realize he/she has additional family there.

Archibald and Hannah Brown Green are my 3rd great grandparents (me, Gertrude Green, Merritt D. Green, Orrin Green, James B. Green, Archibald Green)I know hat James and Dennison are their children and I know there are others but I do not have their names. What makes you think that Thomas E. Green is one of my missing children of Archibald and Hannah?

Samuel O. Haskins @ #155494888
Hi Barbara,

I wrote to you before, and its been some time since.

Knowing that 'Sam' isn't buried nor does the Cemetery have any record of him there, which we discussed previously.

After heavy and careful research of all Obituaries in the San Bernardino and Los Angeles Times newspapers from March 20th to March 27th of 1998, ....., 'Sam O. Haskins isn't to be found.

My question becomes is, do you if March 23, 1998, is the exact date that 'Sam" passed away? Perhaps a Vital record of his death?

Thanks, and GOD Bless!

James Richard Campbell
I am sending an edit for the memorial 29793644, but I believe it needs more explanation. James Richard Campbell died in 1937. The gravestone inscription is wrong. If you could please process the edit and include an explanation, such as the following, in the bio section of the memorial, I believe that will help:

The CA Death Index 1905-1939 in and the obituary indicate that he died 12 Mar. 1937, a Friday. The year of death on the gravestone is erroneous.

Thank you for the memorial and for making this adjustment.

Iris Smith & Leonard Shidler
Hi Barbara,

I came across a picture of Iris and Leonard Shidler taken at Knottsberry Farm on February 17, 1943. I found it with my grandparents' pictures. If you would like me to email it to you let me know.
