If you would like to have the ownership of a relative's memorial page transferred to you so that you can maintain it yourself, please don't hesitate to ask. Understandably, relatives can do a better job than a stranger can. I think it's wonderful when you take the memorial and add pictures and personal stories to honor your relatives.

I will always transfer memorials within guidelines. Please state your exact relationship in your request.

Outside of guidelines is on a case by case basis. Make your case and state why you'd like a transfer.

Needing links made, locations added, a maiden name added, because the person is in your family tree somewhere, etc. is not a reason for transfer. You should either be closely related (or even a good friend, teacher etc) and/or have extensive changes to make.

Also, if we share any ancestors please contact me, I would love to share information, pictures, etc.

Remember this site is to provide useful information in order for people to find their ancestors. It's not about getting high numbers of memorials, drama and knit picking.
