My contributions to Find-A-Grave are greatest in the area of research and edits. I choose to add pertinent information to memorials already created and link family members where possible. I like to collaborate with other contributors to enhance, verify and research the information to make memorials more accurate and complete.
I have made wonderful contacts on this site and very much enjoy working with some great researchers who are bright, generous, and enthusiastic.
One SUPER segment of the contributors are the photographers! I am grateful for their tireless tramping across rows and rows of headstones, in attempts to find the stones requested, then download, edit, and add to memorials. A "BIG thank you"!
We are all in this together, and should be working toward the same goals.....SO.....play nice, share, be kind and have fun!

My heritage stems mostly from the Ohio/Hardin/Logan/Muhlenberg Co. KY area and the Warrick/Boonville/Newburgh area of IN.
Our family came to the U.S. from England and settled in the areas of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and North/South Carolina. When the original 21 (Addington) families came from Maryland to settle in Ohio County, Kentucky, this brought some of our ancestors from the east.
I am interested in finding family members from my husband's heritage including James/Long/Johnson/Rogers/Crittenden/Templeton/Newman/Welborn/Penrod
/Wood/Harper/Mosby/Matherly/Wand/
Thompson. They are primarily from the Ohio/Logan/Muhlenberg area of KY.
I am interested in finding family members from my Dad's side including Addington/Purdue/Thompson/Work/Mann/Swab/Coffee/Palmer/Cain/Rhoads/Barnard/
Igleheart/Nichols/Pigman/Severs/Kimbley/
Hudson/Williams/Dickerson.
They settled mainly in Ohio Co. KY and the Warrick Co area of IN.
I am interested in finding family members from my mother's side including Nacke/Richardson/Nichols/ Wooldridge/Noe/Martin/Utterback/Hicks/Lawson/
Beadles/McGinnis/Sanders/Matthews.
The Nacke family is from Ehrson Germany along the Rhine River. This ancestry is well documented and fairly complete. The members of the other clans are mainly from Hardin/Grayson/Ohio counties.
I am currently trying to add photos and memorials of family members. I am asking anyone who wants to use my photos to get my permission first please. FYI from Find-A-Grave..."The copyright of all photos posted to Find A Grave remains with the original submitter. No use of photos for any other website or personal use is permitted without the prior consent of the original submitter."
I am searching for the following books (used or new) and would appreciate any info on availability:
They came to Warrick County, Indiana: Revolutionary War soldiers and patriots buried in Warrick County, and some of their descendants
by Opal B Phillips

Addington : The Family of Henry and Sarah Addington Beginning in Bucks County, Pennsylvania
by Veda Addington Lindsey

The Addington kin
by Beatrice A Cleveland

Chronicles of a pedagogue.
by Joseph Crittenden Templeton

Thank you to all the generous folks who have posted memorials, photos, and taken photos for me.
