Bio and Links
Bio Photo I Love researching my family history. I love going to cemeteries and looking around. The most fun of all is actually being some place that my ancestors once lived and digging up memorabilia of my ancestors. Such fun and memorable times spending with the family. Family reunions are a favorite of mine too.

Colonel Reynolds
Merritt/Reynolds
Hi Mary, my name is Colonel Dallas Reynolds. I happened across the info you provided concerning your son Joshua's connection with James Merritt, in my studies of my ancestry. My last known paternal ancestor was John Harrison Reynolds. He was the son of John Merritt (James' son). I'm trying to get definite proof of this lineage because John Harrison as well as his brother Selby were both born prior to John and Elizabeth Arundel's (Reynolds) getting married, hence they took their mother's surname name as was tradition. If I could link this lineage, it would help greatly in the "family mystery" that has plagued me and my first cousin in our pursuit of finding who were are. Could you shed some light on this? Thanx.

RE: Lee Line
At present I have no knowledge of my tree beyond Jonathan. Haven't gotten much research done on that side. Need to work on it since I recently found out he was born in Pennsylvania

I got it from another Ancestry Family Tree that had a photo posted to it with the name George Washington Lee written on the side of the photo.
