Bio

Many years ago I began to fully appreciate the endless efforts my father made compiling our family's genealogical heritage. As so often becomes expected, we discovered ancestral links which connect to an ever-increasing collection of respectable relations and famous figures. In the meantime, I continued my own interests of being an avid amatuer historian, as well as being an active hiker/walker. In time I consequently combined the two hobbies and thus brought about a great amount of fulfillment - both by way of visiting the burial sites of people who have made an impact on history, and in my becoming lost in contemplation while searching the tranquil terrains of seemingly forgotten cemeteries. While I hike much less than in earlier years, my interest in visiting Catholic cathedrals and churches have allowed me the opportunity to include several saints and religious during my visits to burial sites.

As for contributing to Find a Grave, I prefer to add as many volunteer photos as I can. In addition, I enjoy adding the forgotten figures of history who may not be buried in traditional cemeteries (such as Reverend Elisha Green); adding the children of American Presidents; adding or updating Signers of America's founding documents; and adding forgotten heroes of history (e.g. Roberts Vaux of Philadelphia and Captain Thomas Bullitt) - there are indeed so many more individuals to contribute to the website.
