When you send me edits, your profile needs to have a way for me to reach you if I have questions about your edits that need answering. If your messages are turned off (you can message others but they can't message you), and you don't provide me with an email address, Then I won't process the edit.
Edits should be sent through the Find A Grave listing using the edit tabs. I verify all updates before making the change. If there is not enough information for me to verify your edits, I may ask for your sources. I am not doing this to be a pain, but I have received edits from people who *think* that they have one person, when in fact they don't.
I am happy to transfer people that I have added, if am not descended from that person.
Finally, a word about "FRIENDS" on Find A Grave. The people that I have listed as friend on my account are people that I know, personally. Please do not add me as a friend of yours on your profile unless we know one and other off of Find A Grave, or you have asked me if you can add me. Just a simple courtesy.

In regard to your inquiry about an obit or other info concerning the Longs...I am sorry that, other then what is posted on the monuments, is all I have. I do no research on monuments I post except for adding data that other members send along to me.

Thank you; you have been highly recommended by many scholars & historians from Ohio, and add Spokane!

|BIRCHWOOD FARM GROVE||RE: James Walton aka "Peavine Jimmy"|
Hi Stu, The Marion County Historical Society and the genealogy society referred us to you. Our names are Vern & Carrie Berg and, you emailed us that you are related to the Walton's through three different lines, you stated you know the Walton family and the Monnett's. Anyways, it was about a photo match up, because we have a collection of photos. To make a long story short, we don't want any of the information pulled, is their anything wrong with correcting data. You we're on Mary Brown's friends list, that is why we made contact. We have been sharing a free flow of information to the WSPRC Parks & historical societies, libraries, Universities & Museums for 33 years. "Now is a great time reveal the real James Walton aka "Peavine Jimmy". We did not invent him. You probably have never heard of him in Ohio, but he is big in Spokane, hence the Jame "Peavine Jimmy" Walton threshing barn, stagecoach, merchants, mining, and more. We're just trying to work together, piecing the information together, with confused dates. We look to forward to working with you in the future. We're not trying to get kicked off find a grave on our first experience / day. "Peavine Jimmy" is a bit of a shocker at first. Kind Regards, Vern & Carrie Berg

James Walton aka "Peavine Jimmy"
The date on the headstone of James F. Walton (1858-1908)contradicts the dates on the depicted article; if James was born in 1858 and he returned home in 1860 he would have been 2 years old? Then he walked to California in 1862, that would have made him 4 years old in 1862?
The BIRCHWOOD FARM GROVE 2016-17 book has the origin of James Walton aka "Peavine Jimmy", who was born in 1830-1908, son of David and Louisa Winchell Walton, and his brother Martin Van Buren Walton, and much more, for instance James Walton's FRIENDS, merchant and mining partners, are in the book. Do you know who you have here? James Walton is a well-known historical icon in Spokane, Wash., hence the "Peavine Jimmy" threshing barn. He was a "mining magnate", affiliated with the Copper King, Heinze.

I did not have enough information to support the changes to Mr. Gurley's memorial. Do you have supporting documentation? You may email it to me at email@example.com Thanks!

Done. Sorry it took so long.

Is this your family ? If so I would be happy to pass it on to you. Just let me know!
|MrsZ||RE: Ammon Watkins|
Thank you for the transfer! I don't know much about Ammon other than what you have stated in his memorial.I descend from his daughter Priscilla who later moved to Kansas. You didn't happen upon the grave for Ammon's wife Harriet? Thanks again!
