Special Note: Findagrave administrators have/or in the process of removing Confederate Flag from CSA memorials, as the Flag does not meet their policy, and replacing with a generic flower. Just an FYI.

Duplicate memorials: If you have made a duplicate memorial of one of my memorials, please be kind enough to delete when asked to do so or I will ask FAG to merge your memorial with mine. Exception: sometimes there are two memorials for a CSA Soldier, one in the cemetery where he is most likely buried and one back home. These should not be merged.

Transfer requests: use the edit tab on the memorial and click on suggest other edit or correction, list your relationship and please include your membership #.

Edits: Please send a note using the edit tab as to where you found the information you would like edited. This will help so I don't have to do further research. Thanks

Thanks to everyone who have left flowers and notes on my Uncle: Augustus (Gus or Junior) Byrd (# 48422763), who died in a Japanese Prison Camp in 1943. This brave soldier as well as all others who have served and/or given their life for their Country, in any war or act of aggression, deserve all the honor and respect we can give them.

NO Death certificates, please! Although permisable by FAG, they really are in poor taste and take up space that could be used for photos. If someone needs to know cause of death, they can research vital records and find this info for medical reasons.

Special thanks to all FAG members who have so graciously transferred memorials to me. Your kindness and generosity are very much appreciated.
