|Bio and Links|
My name is Mr. Badger Hawkeye (actually it isn't)|
The name comes from my two favorite college teams: the Wisconsin Badgers and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
I have transcribed several cemeteries in the Iowa County, Wisconsin area and hope to do more in the coming years. I also list names from obituaries from newspapers in Dubuque (Iowa), Rockford (Illinois), and both Dodgeville and Madison (Wisconsin). I have posted names for several Dubuque area cemeteries such as Linwood (in the past), Mount Calvary, St. John's Lutheran, and Mount Olivet.
If you wish to have a family member's name that I posted deleted, just let me know via email and I will respond right away. *Also as of June 6, 2012, I will only post obituaries to individual Find A Grave memorial pages if another individual sends a SAC. Otherwise I will just post the basic information like name, dates of birth and death, places of birth and death, and will try to link to either parents and spouses if possible. Also listed will be the source of information whether it be a newspaper or website* Just check out the FAQ section dealing with obituaries if you have any questions.
The photo above is of our family's first "furry companion" Fritz. She (I know Fritz is a funny name for a female, but the family thought that she was a boy when we first got her as a puppy) was a very loyal and protective companion. She will always be with us in our hearts and memories.
Lesson For The Day:
Check the actual memorial # before stating that the memorial page is a duplicate of another one. Also check date that first memorial page was created.
