HE ONLY DESERVES TO BE REMEMBERED BY POSTERITY, WHO TREASURES AND PRESERVES THE HISTORY OF HIS ANCESTORS...

THIS IS A CEMETERY
Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded - families are reunited - memories are made tangible - and life is undisguised. This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families bestow reverence, historians seek information and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotions, pride and remembrance are carved in stone to pay warm tribute to accomplishments and to the life - not death - of a loved one. The cemetery is a homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people - a personal record of yesterday and a sanctuary of peace and quiet today.
A cemetery exists because every life is worth loving and remembering - ALWAYS.

The Recording of A Cemetery

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where others cried
For loved ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hallowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.

I am not there, I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain. I am the gentle Autumn's rain.When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry: I am not there.
To be remembered by those we leave behind, is not to die.
