Bio

I'm a longtime local resident and Rindge (NH) Historical Society member and volunteer, past president and current BOD. Volunteer research assistant in local history matters and genealogy at RHS museum. A Civil War buff, and a fairly decent knowledge of local cemeteries from knowing lots of people in them.

I've had a life long interest in history. I became a member of my home town historical society when I was 11. I was one of those kids that wrote essays for entry in those D.A.R. contests to win that $25.00 savings bond, won a few as well.

Cemetery trips started way back then too. Visiting the local cemeteries with relatives to find grandparents, great grandparents was an annual event. This led to trips all over New England with extended family for reunions and more cemetery trips and visits to a lot of dusty archives and libraries. This was all before the internet. How things have changed.

My goal here is to plug away as I can with my own family and work away at the local cemeteries I know best, they are loaded with Rev. War vets and Civil War vets that have not been remembered here yet. And to help out others as I can with photos or information about their projects.

Ken

BTW, feel free to use my photographs and don't hesitate to contact me about a memorial I've created, with additional info or whatever!

Hi all! I am back after a long time and a serious illness. I can't do as much as I used to but I will try to keep plugging at my same old goals. The local cemeterirs! Local history, veterans of our American wars. Thanx
