I was born and raised in Wyoming...from Mammoth to Greybull to Glenrock to Lander. My dad worked iron and oil rigs so had to go where the work was. He passed in 1962 (Find A Grave Memorial# 83530630) and after I graduated HS in '65, mom packed my brother and me up and moved to SUNNY Southern California. Been here ever since except for a few years in Austin, Tx and Phoenix, AZ. I've loved them all but still consider myself that small-town girl. You can take the girl out of Wyoming, well, you know how it goes. I have gotten hooked on this and would love to volunteer and do it full time, but right now I care for mom who is 102 and help my brother raise his 3 grandsons. I have a daughter, 5 grandchildren, and 5 and a half great-grands. Ok, it's officially 6 great-grands now with the arrival 4/27/13 of Peyten Renee Sgarlata. Ok ... it's 6 and a half greats as we await the arrival of Greyson Cole Baca the first of June, 2016. Ok ... Greyson (aka Tank) is here ... all 10 lb 3 oz.
Sadly, mom passed on 12/15/21. I'm sure she would have made it to 103 but she fell and hit her head.
