I have been interested in genealogy and family research for several years. In the past several years, I have been entering listings for persons found in the local obituaries and also many of the local cemeteries. I would be very happy to add links or additional information to any of my listings. Thank you to everyone for providing additional information. I realize this takes time, and I really appreciate the links and other info provided. When possible, I try to include the contributor's name and FAG number on the memorial to acknowledge the credit, but I don't have the time to post credit for each individual link.

Please use edit tab for any corrections. It makes it easier to make revisions. Links, revisions and corrections sent in messages may not get taken care of very quickly. Also, before adding a memorial, be sure to do a thorough search to make sure the memorial hasn't been added. I've been receiving several emails saying my memorials are duplicates when in fact they were added sometimes several years before the one that mine is supposedly duplicating.

Please understand that I have other obligations and can't devote 100% of my time to this. The entries I make are from full obituaries and death notices that don't initially have all the information, but when the full obituary is posted, I add the missing info. In some cases this may take a few days, so please bear with me. If you have the full obit, please feel free to send it via the edit tab and I'll gladly add it at that time. I don't enter memorials just to see how many I can get either. The total just naturally keeps climbing every time I add some.

Before asking for a transfer, PLEASE read the FAG guidelines and rules. If you are requesting a transfer, PLEASE tell me how you are related so I can determine if the transfer will be made. I understand that FAG upgraded their policies but, I would still appreciate knowing how you are related. Also, when I transfer a memorial a small acknowledgment that you received the transfer would be appreciated.

Due to the large number of people requesting transfers just so they can control a distant family member, I'm limiting my transfers to IMMEDIATE FAMILY, meaning parents, siblings, and grandparents, and I would appreciate being ASKED nicely to transfer instead of receiving demands. Please realize that you can't expect to have every single family member page in your care as there are thousands of contributors on this site and trees do overlap. I do not control every one of my relation on FAG, and don't expect to. I'm just happy to have them there so I can refer to them if needed.

Also, if you have nothing to add to the memorial, and just want to have the page because they are related, there's no need for a transfer. Unless you have extensive changes to be made, please just ask for links or additions to be made. I have a lot of time and sometimes costs for travel, etc. involved in my listings so I prefer to keep them unless they are direct family. If the person happens to be related to me, the transfer won't be made, but I will do corrections or additions.
