Bio and Links
I have worked on research for all family lines of my own and my husbands for over 30 years. I am currently striving to identify and memorialize all of the Shenefield line, descendants of John Shenefield b 1768 and his wife Rosanna Miller. I am grateful to all who have posted before me and which allow me to continue this endeavor.

Reynolds vs Long info
Miss Pam, on the same link you sent, view the obit of Rachel (nee Long) Reynolds about a son, Gardner:

The Pulaski Citizen 8 Feb 1956
Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Long Reynolds, 80, widow of W. A. Reynolds, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon at Bennett.
May Funeral Home, conducted by Dr. J. Clark Hensley, pastor of the First Baptist Church. Burial will take place in the family lot in Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Reynolds, a lifelong resident of Giles County, went to Memphis during the holidays for a visit with her son, Gardner L. Reynolds. She died at 3 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon, February 7, at a Memphis hospital after a short illness. A native of Giles County, she was born December 4, 1875, the daughter of the late William Thomas Long and Nancy Watson Long, and was a member of the Baptist Church. Mr. Reynolds died a number of years ago. Mrs. Reynolds is survived by the one son, Gardner L. Reynolds; one grandson, Duane Reynolds, Memphis; and her son
-in-law, Edwin L. Reed, with whom she had lived in Pulaski since the death of her daughter, Mrs. Eula Bell Reynolds Reed, about four years ago

William n. Long
I seen a photo request from you for a grave near my home. I have researched a little of this. Did you find William yet? I found that on the 1930 census here another Long. The census says he is not a vet. Yet findagrave says he is buried at the confederate cemetery here. Is it possible that William could be at the confedate cemetery? Please let me know if you still wish for photos or otherwise!

RE: Marcey Hawkins
The reason I researched Barnett is because the cemetery is on the land that my -g-g-g grandfather owned and is buried in. Silver Creek KY

Margaret Greenlee
Hi My name is Cara Greenlee, My Father Steve, his wayne, his finley, his samuel d dawson his Anna and Samuel. I've been researching this family beyond Samuel and Ann For years. Is Anna Ann Hyatt as well as Ann Dawson, Did she remarry after the death of Samuel ? I do believe they were different People possibly Ann Hyatt lived in Springfield are and seems to be born 10 years prior to Ann Dawson which would be ours due to the will I found and Deaath Records. Sam And Ann Hyatt I believe were from the greenlee family in West virginia that belonged to the family that adopted my mother. I have been trying to connect the two greenlee families for years with no luck. Do you have any info that could help me out? I will post the will for you on Margaret Sheffields post. Thanks Cara Greenlee Henderson

RE: Thomas Dillard Stephenson
Hello Pam,

I have been unable to locate any parents for Thomas (Dillard) Stephenson. Since I live in Seattle, I am unable to go to any local Missouri libraries to look up anything on him. And yes, this has puzzled me for many years not being able to find any parents for him. He was born in Kentucky so am not able to go there to look for anything about him. It just really bugs me about him. He was a Judge so something must have been written about him and or his parents at one time. I just have not been able to locate anything so I don't even know about his siblings. I sure hope you dig up something!
