I fell into gravehunting naturally, having been into doing my family genealogy since high school. I had been seeking out the graves of my ancestors, and quite by accident, stumbled onto the grave of a Hollywood celebrity nearby. In my spare time, I love researching old Los Angeles, with particular interest in architecture, and love spending time with my wife and two teenaged children.|
I realize that many of the memorials I have created are for prominent personalities. I have not endeavored to write the biographies that they deserve, but I would welcome submissions to enhance the entries.

Hi Scott -
I am researching Attila Haraszthy and his wife Natalia V. Vallejo. Natalia is my 1st cousin 3 times removed. I notice you have done a wonderful amount of research in Find A Grave. Would you be willing to point me toward your sources? My families are Fitch, Carrillo, Grant, Freshour and Rice. Natalia is the daughter of MG Vallejo and his wife, Benicia, who was the sister of my 3rd great grandmother, Josefa Carrillo, wife of Henry Delano Fitch.
Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thanks for all your hard and wonderful work.

|the Chronicler||Regarding Jody Burnett ...|
Scott, thank you for your quick response. I'm sorry for the confusion on Burnett gravesite. I was confused about Jody Burnett's final resting place, let alone any published reports of multiple gravesites for Carol Burnett's father. Especially, as I have been a resident of La Mirada for nearly 50 years, and never discovered this information. But, I learned something new, that Jody Burnett had a La Mirada connection before the town was even incorporated. -Thank you again, and will do the footwork to followup on updated photo of unmarked grave.

Scott, I just wanted to give you a heads up of an error from a few years ago. You inadvertently switched code numbers when posting Jody Burnett's cemetery that holds his cenotaph. Instead of Westwood Memorial, you erroneously placed La Miranda's Olive Lawn Cemetery. Easy fix ...

Glad to help!
Section F, where Roba is, is one of the oldest parts of the Holy Cross cemetery .... and the many, many empty spaces denote graves without headstones/markers. I've had several searches there recently and probably only found 1/4 with markers.

Thank you Scott. I have searched Home cemetery many times and cound not find ever one Blassman. Max (who is really Mendel) and Pauline are my great grand parents. A photo of the graves would be great but this is an unexpected blessing. Thank you for your work of love.

No problem at all. I don't believe that Nettie Fisher has a photo. If you want one uploaded, add it to the request list, and I'll get a stand alone shot in a few days.

Thanks for rejecting the parental link recommendation for Sidney. With him having two virtual memorials for two locations with the other one already linked, your adding links in the biography is an outstanding technique! Cheers!

Anna Philips, it turns out, was buried at a cemetery in Culvert City, and was not cremated, as she was a Catholic, and cremation was not permitted at the time of her death. Do you have any pictures from the cemeteries in Culvert City?
