Bio

I have been interested in history since the 4th grade, but did not know but little of my own family history until my mother passed away and I began researching to write a memorial piece in her honor in 2005.
There is no better way to lean the real history of our country than family history. My knowledge of history has helped me a great deal in figuring out my family history.
Write and share family history with as many people and institutions as seem proper to receive it, or else it will not be preserved for those who come after us and want to know their heritage just as we do.
Cemetery stones are monuments with more personal meaning than the great statues we might go to tourist sites to look at. They are in setting that are worth traveling to, walking in, and, and spending time thinking about.
