A ninth generation American, I've always found cemeteries interesting, peaceful and relaxing. Please notify me if I've made a mistake on any memorials I post. No one is perfect, least of all me. I will be glad to make those corrections and or additions but I do not respond to rude and disrespectful demands. If I have a photo of a headstone that is better than the one already posted, I will post my photo. I do not post to "build my numbers". I do not revisit cemeteries and retake photos that have my shadow on them. About two years ago I became less active in recording memorials although I have a numbers of photos to post. However, I do occasionally check my account and process requested edits of memorials I have already posted.
I am a Find a Grave volunteer because I enjoy visiting cemeteries recording the history of those who have gone before us so as to be of a benefit of those who cannot visit the cemeteries in person to pay their respects.
